In the early 2000s he formed the group The New Royales with DJ Khalil, Liz Rodrigues and Chin Injeti. As a writing team they wrote songs for Eminem, P!nk, Talib Kwali, Bishop Lamont among others. During this period he worked with Dr. Dre alongside DJ Khalil on the never released 2001: The Chronic followup “Detox”.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2015 Erik honed his production skills working out of DJ Khalil’s studio with Sam Barsh and Dan Seeff. While there he also co-wrote two songs for Celine Dion’s album “Courage”, including the title track.

In 2019 he moved to Berlin, Germany where he is now working as a team with English producer John “P*nut” Harrison.
